Studio Blues started with capturing things found in artist studios that I thought were beautiful in the same frame. I think of photographic prints as travelers I brought to the world, and frames as temporary habitats for them to stay. Through the language of commercial photography, artificial lighting, and color manipulation, I stage coups where objects are celebrated in a new world.
